about

[ENGLISH]
The theme of Follia (in English: Madness) appears in music at the beginning of the fourteenth century. The first composer to write it down has been Arcangelo Corelli, in 1700, in the last of his twelve sonatas for violin and basso continuo. This theme inspired many important composers thereafter: Geminiani, Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, etc. With this elaboration I enjoyed composing an electronic version which melds real instruments with electronic ones.
